She was born in 1992 in Ankara. In 2010, she graduated from Ibn Sina Medical High School.
She received her BA degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Hacettepe University with honors degree in 2014. In 2015, she received the certificate of teaching (pedagogical formation) from Hacettepe University Faculty of Education. In 2015, she received the certificate of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language from Hacettepe University Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching Application and Research Center. In 2019, she completed her master's degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Turkish folkloristic. Prior to TED University, she worked at Hacettepe University Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching Application and Research Center and Bursa Uludağ University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center. She is still working in the Department of Turkish Language at Middle East Technical University.
Her research and research interests include Turkish Folk Literature, Turkish Humor Culture, Sufi Folk Literature, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Folk Beliefs and Rituals, Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language.
